MAIN STREET MEMORIAL BENCHES
As of July 2024, the new benches are out on Main Street! WOW! What an impact they make in making our town look welcoming and ALIVE! Each family who purchased a memorial bench in honor of a loved one will soon receive an email to set the details for their memorial plaque that will be mounted to each bench! Thank you to everyone who purchased one! We can’t wait to get more of these for the town in the near future! Let’s keep pushing to BEAUTIFY LEACHVILLE!
NORTH END WELCOME SIGN
In May of 2024, we repurposed the the old oval sign from the Highway 18 Welcome Sign and created an all new welcome sign on the north end of Main Street as you come in from Missouri! Special thanks to Terry Chambers for allowing us to put this on your lot and a big thanks to Mark Thrasher for installing the fence post! We also want to thank Jerred Price with Price & Co. Roofing and Renovations for donating the flowers, brick, and lighting!
LEACHVILLE FOOD PANTRY REFRESH PROJECT
Before and after at the The Leachville Foundation, Inc.'s Food Bank on Main Street! In April 2024, The LBC was happy to donate a $2500 paint job to this wonderful community organization! We appreciate all they do for our hometown!

“This is what community is all about. We have to step up. Get involved. And figure out ways to make things happen TOGETHER… not make excuses and point fingers as to who is responsible for what and why “it can’t be done”. Let’s come together. Make a plan. And do our part as a community. When we do, these are the results” said LBC Board President & Founder, Jerred Price.

Mrs. Jo Ann Puckett Cardin accepted the donation and even posed for a picture! We’d like to thank Board President & LBC Founder Jerred Price and Board Members Whitlee Adams McDermott and Brannah Bibbs for stepping up to help paint! We’d also like to thank eveyone else who showed up on a Saturday to lend their time toward the project which helped us complete it in ONE DAY!

A special thanks to Hufford's Lumber & Hardware as well for always being supportive and helpful toward our projects.
We’d also like to say how much we appreciate all of our board members who care so much for our little town and serve our organization for one reason: a better, more beautiful Leachville.
WELCOME SIGN REFRESH
As of April 2024, the Welcome Sign Refresh Project is complete! This past weekend, we installed the flowers, shrubs, and white rock that made the flower bed come to life! The only thing we are waiting on now is the lamppost to be completed and shipped. Once it's here, it will be the last piece of the project! Many Leachville families donated to the project and some are even stepping up to donate their time and materials to make this project a huge success for the town!
Thank you to all of our donors who made this happen!
Special thanks to:
Marsha Jackson & Family
for donating the flower bed soil!
Jordan Whitaker
for donating time & paint to paint the walls!
Price & Co. Roofing and Renovations
for matching the funds raised!
Chambers Electric
for helping us with the electrical hook ups!
Hufford's Hardware

We also have a plaque that will list all donors who contributed to this project that is in production.
FIRE STATION MEMORIAL LAMPPOST PROJECT
On Nov. 16th, 2023, the LBC and members of the community gathered at the Leachville Volunteer Fire Department to honor two first responders who served our community for many years.

These new post replaced the old post that were just outside at the front of the fire department; the old post were in pretty bad shape. These two new post were purchased to honor two long-time serving volunteer firefighters & their families.

The first post was dedicated to Judy & Morrell "Smokey" Mangrum donated by Dwight & Michael Mangrum and families.

The second post was dedicated to Buie Ray donated by Suzanne Faught, Luke, Jared, & Olivia Dixon.

We would like to thank the families who purchased these memorial lamppost and for helping us beautify our community. We would also like to thank Drake Brown & the Leachville Volunteer Fire Department for repairing an underground power-line that was damaged at the fire department so that these lights that were purchased by these families can shine bright for years to come! Your support, cooperation, and teamwork means a lot! Special thanks to Terry Chambers at Chambers Heating for fixing the fire department’s power line so quickly!

MAIN STREET MEMORIAL LAMPPOST PROJECT
JUST WOW! Look at what a difference the Leachville Memorial Lamp Post Project has made for our Historic District of Main Street!
Installed in May of 2023, twenty different families purchased a pole to honor a loved one. At no cost to the city or taxpayers, the lamppost will shine on for decades honoring beloved Leachvillians who made an impact on our community. Each post has a plaque dedicated to who they were dedicated to mounted to the base of the post.
We want to say thank you to the City of Leachville, Mayor Rodney Robertson, the City Council, the Board of Directors for the Leachville Beautification Corporation, and to all of the families who purchased a pole which made this project possible.
If you look closely to some of the photos, you will see a few locals working on their historic buildings on Main Street. They are bringing them back life and they want to improve and fix up their town! This is what it’s all about! It’s crazy to think that just a year ago, just after the tornado ripped through our town, people were suggesting that it might be best to tear down these historic buildings and that Main Street was dying. Even a few who said the lamp post project wasn’t a good idea and didn’t support it. Well, we believed otherwise and are happy to have formed this organization (the Leachville Beautification Corp.) to #SaveMainStreetLeachville & continue our mission to #BeautifyLeachville!

“We can’t wait to launch our other beautification projects in the very near future. Stay tuned! We are JUST getting started!”
added Jerred Price, LBC Board President
